7 day tour 11th October to 18th October
This charming little island of Captain Corelli fame has its own indigenous grape, Robolla, to be found practically nowhere else on earth. Although it is only a small island in the Ionian Sea it sports its own wine routes offering us a number of wineries to visit as well as a substantial wine cooperative.
We’ll be staying at the Byzantio apartments near Spartia on the South West of the Island. We’ll be visiting wineries and tasting their wines on four out of the seven days, but also spending sometime visiting the beauty spots of the island and a day will be devoted to a boat trip and picnic aboard.
This is the ideal holiday for the wine lover who would like some wine-related activity and a lot of beach or pool as well. The price of £730 (based on two sharing, £250 single person supplement) covers accommodation and breakfast, air transfers, 6 meals and all transport to wineries and wine tastings plus, of course the boat trip.
