We meet at Wateringbury railway station (Postcode ME18 5EA, where car parking is generally available). You will be greeted by our associated E-Bike hire company (UK Electric Bike Centre).

E-Bike in the vineyard
After about 15 minutes E-Bike instruction & test riding (if necessary), you will head off on a circuitous route west towards our first venue (near West Peckham where part of a Television series “The Larkins” was filmed) and after lunch, we cycle to our next venue nearby. In all, our day’s e-biking route covers less than 15 miles.
In considering the English weather pattern and the English vine growing season, the best months to arrange this sort of E-Bike vineyard tour adventure is to choose a day from late April to late September.
Subject to whatever details our associate tour leader arranges, our English E-Bike single-day vineyard tours are likely to start at 10:00 and finish at 17:00 hours; and the respective seven-hour day includes two English wine producer visits and lunch in a vineyard setting.

At each wine venue you will be offered tasting samples, so even though sample measures will be tiny – please take care not to consume excessive amounts of alcohol, to avoid any mishaps afterwards when in control of an E-Bike.
As carrying away any number of bottles you decide to buy from a wine producer is unsafe or prohibitive on an E-Bike, we would encourage you to place an order for home delivery!
Our return to Wateringbury station follows an easterly route via Nettlestead.
