Cyprus is a popular holiday destination, particularly with the British, who are comfortable with cars being driven on the left, happy to find the same size power sockets like UK examples, and delight in finding that English is widely spoken. Sun, sea, and mountains abound. For ‘wine aficionados’ there is an added benefit as Cyprus produces some excellent wines, many of them regular winners at international wine challenges.
To offer you greater wine tour flexibility, in Cyprus you are free to choose the dates, length and content that appeals to you most – dependent upon your Cyprus holiday location and the options that best suit your needs. We offer Wine Tours in Cyprus for One, Two, Three or more days, as per our notes, below.
A wine tour is ideal for wine lovers and single-day tours are extremely popular. The vineyards and wineries are along the Troodos mountains, east to west.
Single Day Wine Tours in Cyprus
Should you choose a popular single day wine tour with us, you will experience a well-balanced day of wine tastings, gastronomy, and relaxation. Our usual format is to visit a winery in the morning, taste their wine and then have a traditional Cyprus lunch, prior to another winery visit with tasting in the afternoon. Additionally, as there are many points of interest in Cyprus, we like to include a visit to say a honey producer, an Embroidery museum, or an historical site as well, but this aspect depends upon your choice and timing.
We can collect you from an agreed meeting point or from your hotel or holiday villa – even if this is on the Eastern side of the island e.g. Protaras or Ayia Napa.
As a guideline, average rates for single day wine tours in areas like Kato Drys, Limassol or Paphos are about €150 per person including a gift, but dependent on the area and your chosen time of travel.
Normally the tourist season in Cyprus runs from April to October but is busiest during June to August. May and June are usually the driest months, and the “Wine Harvest” period runs from August to mid-November.

Two – or Three-Day Wine Tours in Cyprus
Should you opt for two, three or more wine tour days with us, there’s greater flexibility to enable us to incorporate activities such as a “wine experience day” where you can take part in the process of running a winery without all the real-life heavy effort. According to the time of year, this might include planting some vines or conducting some pruning. We might operate the bottling plant and even make some of the byproducts, like Soutzoukos (a Cyprus chewy sweet made from grape juice) that is usually made in Cyprus alongside wine.
Our novel approach of specialising in custom-designed wine tour holidays gives us the flexibility to address your preferences precisely. Transport is one of the most expensive elements of our wine tours and therefore groups of four or more people certainly help greatly towards achieving an economical price for all involved.
What is the best location from which to base a multi-day wine tour? Pissouri (between Limassol and Paphos) is one good option. From there, both the Limassol Wine Routes (to the East) and the Paphos Wine Routes (to the West) are easily accessible. Another location that we favour is Kato Drys, which is a beautiful and peaceful village in the foothills of the Troodos mountain range. There are a couple of wineries in the immediate vicinity.
